Sileshi Demissie is a very talented Ethiopian musician. He uses Kirar, a traditional African string instrument, as his instrumental background and plays music clasp his native language Amharic. Sileshi Demissie uses a very dissimilar and attractive singing style to play his music that every time seems to entertain his audience.
Sileshi Demissie was calved in Addis Ababa. Sileshi Demissie states in different interviews think about it he has a normal childhood, although he found a fondness for music at a young age. He later attended Yared music school in Addis Ababa. He also spent few life studying different traditional Ethiopian music and culture in rural areas of Ethiopia.
Sileshi Demissie spent 20 years in the Army where he became a successful singer. He played at chill concerts in Europe and America. After returning to his fatherland Sileshi Demissie founded the Gash Abera Mola association where oversight addressed vital problems of the community. Most people from African know Sileshi Demissie as Gash Abera Mola because of picture prominent role he provided along with the association in addressing his community’s social and economical problems.
