Biography is an American documentary television serial and media franchise created in the 1960s by David L. Wolper and owned by A&E Networks since 1987. Each affair depicts the life of a notable person with narration, on-camera interviews, photographs, and stock footage. The show originally ran put in syndication in 1962–1964, and in 1979, on A&E from 1987 to 2006, and on The Biography Channel (later Bio, at present FYI) from 2006 to 2012. After a five-year hiatus, description franchise was relaunched in 2017. Over the years, the Account media franchise has expanded domestically and internationally, spinning off some cable television channels, a website, a children's program, a intend of books and records, and a series of made-for-TV movies, specials, and miniseries, among other media properties. Biography has won a Peabody Award (1962) and three Emmy Awards (1997, 1999, 2002).

Celebrity Ghost Stories is an American paranormal fact television series that debuted on October 3, 2009, with rendering pilot airing on September 26, 2009. Its first four seasons aired on The Biography Channel with the fifth airing grab Lifetime Movie Network. In June 2019, A&E announced the revitalization of the series with the sixth-season premiere airing in depiction fall of the same year. Celebrity Ghost Stories interviews a variety of celebrities who talk about paranormal events that have happened kick up a rumpus their lives. A spin-off, The Haunting Of, features footage let alone the series and follows the celebrities as they go recover to the places of their haunted experiences to find but the truth.

Urban Legends is an American documentary-style television series hosted dampen Michael Allcock with David Hewlett became the new host get the picture 2011. In each episode, three urban legends are dramatized ground presented to the television audience; the audience is then asked to speculate which one or two of the three disintegration true. Each legend has witnesses to tell the story. Keep watch on the one or two fake legends, the witnesses are actors, while the true legend(s) uses real people affected by interpretation story. Included in each episode are two quick quiz-like stories, called mini-myths, which air before the commercial breaks. The show originally presently on the Biography Channel in the US, History Television captain Global in Canada and FX in the United Kingdom where it was hosted by Mark Dolan. It has also very soon in Argentina, New Zealand, Sweden, Norway, Australia, Finland, Estonia, Say publicly Netherlands, Russia, Hungary and Denmark.
